Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis

Innovex Group provides computational fluid dynamic (CFD) capabilities. Within our Solidworks environment we can perform advanced flow analysis on your 3D models. Our simulation experts are trained in fluid dynamics and heat transfer as well we have explored many aspects of fluid design for our clients.

Here we introduce some of the areas we can explore using CFD analysis. The case studies provide further detail on the powerful capabilities and results processing that we can provide. We are expanding this content so please revisit for additional information. Explore the different possibilities...

Particle Tracking

Particle tracking allows us to trace the path of foreign solid or fluid particles through your fluid flow. Particles of almost any material can be defined with varying density and volume. By considering details such as the effect of gravity and energy absorption upon collision with surfaces, particles can be visually traced to indicate performance and assist in identifying areas of the design that may require improvement.

Thermal Analysis

Knowledge of how heat flows and distributes are fundamental concerns in many design scenarios. We are able to analyze the transfer and flow of heat through both fluids and solid simultaneously. Transient studies allow us to look at the effect of heat flow over time. Many possibilities exist to explore and optimize your design through heat transfer analysis.
