MaxWest Environmental Systems Inc. 

MaxWest designs and manufactures biosolid gasification systems for the purposes of solid waste disposal. Their system offers cost and environmental benefits over conventional treatment solutions. Innovex was consulted to assist in the development and optimization of their primary gasification unit and plant design with a focus on simulation modeling and analysis of fluid flow and heat transfer. Project tasks included:

• Structural design and solid mechanics analysis using FEA
• Flow analysis of injected air to optimize combustion and reduce clinker
• Transient heat analysis to study thermal profile during operation
• Documentation management for effective and reliable administration of critical project files including drawings, 3D models, FEA analyses, etc.
